That is fine. It would be great if you can hold it there, but temp tends to fluctuate. If that is the temp after the lights have been on all day, you are doing good.

That was the temp when I only turned on one of the lights, when I turned on all the lights, the temp was a little over 27(80.6f) so I think I will buy some fans this weekend.

I'd hold off on a mandarin for awhile, at least 8 or 9 months until you have a good pod colony established. A year would be even better!

mushrooms can eventually move around and overgrow, same for star poly which can take over.
Torch, frogspawn and hammers do ok near each other, but will kill many other coral within a few inches of them. Toad stool leather poisons the water in a way that hurts stony coral if it get very big. You may need to run carbon if it gets big. Some brain coral will sting things with in a few inches, but not as bad as the torch will. Keep the mushrooms, star polyps and zoanthids confined to smaller rocks you can remove later. Keep at least 4" (maybe more) between the other hard corals, and run carbon if the toadstool starts growing. Otherwise I am sure you can grow them all. If by tree you mean kenya tree, wach out as it drops arms that can attach anywhere in the tank. |

torches do not get along with hammers and frogspawn. You can keep hammers and frogspawn together but any torch needs to be seperated.

Let me know how you like the tank. I have the s-400. As an all in one setup I personally like it. One exception is the skimmer. That will probably be the first thing I replace.
