Fittings for Waveline DC 4000
The black two-part barb fittings for my DC 4000 won't work with my existing plumbing so I am looking at new PVC joints to connect to the DC 4000. Will plain PVC threaded couplings work with the DC 4000?

An additional issue is the inlet barb coupling doesn't tighten far enough for the seal to actually seal. Even fully tightened up, I can still easily turn the barb.

Some more info on the sizes of your exsisting plumbing or even pictures would help a lot.
As far as the sealing issue, they come with a couple different sized rubber o-rings that should seal the outlet. Did you use those? Proper installation is required. Put the barb through the threaded union, and then insert the rubber o-ring.
