Light recommendation?
Without going into detail why i want to dump the lights i have, i'm looking for recommendations for lights.
I'd prefer LED's. My tank is a 65 gallon tall so it's the same dimensions as a 55 for the footprint but taller. 48x13 i think? I have some LPS coral. I don't really care much about keeping SPS overall but maybe an acro eventually would be nice. Looking for something i can use inside a canopy that's about 7 inches tall as the tank is in the living room and i have cats so an open top is not an option and i dont want lights hanging over the tank. Any suggestions on a light that would work for this? I don't want to break the bank on this, so no radions etc or 1600 light setup recommendations please. Would like to be able to at least add a controller for sunrise/sunset and auto on/off. TIA for any suggestions as i keep looking in circles at this. |

Current USA might be ok for softies in that tank. Personally, if I wanted LEDs and were on a budget, I'd go for the evergrow fixtures. They have a built-in remote and have been used by many to grow even SPS nicely.

Check Maxspect Razor. Very thin design and you can grow pretty much anything under it. I love mine.

I use Reef Breeders. Photon 48. They have a forum here on RC. Excellent light and great service from what I researched. I have not required it. Great improvement over my former Kessils.
