Powerheads?

How many power heads do I need in my 36 gallon (bow front) and 55 gallon? Both are FOWLR. What kind of flow am I trying to create here? I have a HOB filter on each also.

Recommendations?

Powerheads?

I would buy a wave capable powerhead like an ecotech or jebao, at least one. The jebao does a great job at a fraction of the cost.

Look up the jebao rw-4 or 8

So one wave compatible power head per tank?

Depends on how much flow you want. The pumps i suggested are strong. They really move water.

For your 55 gallon maybe two at opposing ends at most, and dial down to your liking. Perhaps for that tank and rw8 and a 4 or two 4s. For the smaller tank, one rw 4 should suffice I would imagine.
