coral loss

hey guys so I got this piece of coral it has been inside my tank for about 2 weeks and it was blooming like crazy from the time I got it. it probably increased in size by at least three times of the size in which I got it, today I come home and it looks like they got a lot smaller. I'm still feeding them exactly the same do any hermit crabs that I have possibly eat the corals?

Ditto on the need more info comment. Also, depending on the type of coral, it may shrink/expand under normal conditions. Leathers are known to do this often with no rhyme or reason.
