Recommend me a none-intertidal CUC????
Hi guys. Starting a second tank and would like some new CUC. Key thing is none-intertidal. what I really dislike about reefcleaner CUC are those Nerite and Dwarf Cerith snails. They sleep on the glass / water line all night. Most of the times I'm staring at snails on front glass panel.
I have a 150gallon. so far I plan to have these transferred from old tank: -20 small Nassarius Snails + a few xlarge Nassarius -10 Trochus Snails -2 Fighting Conch I may need a few algae cleaners that will clean the rocks.. I really like those Scarlet Hermits. but read plenty mix reviews on hermits. Any other recommendations?

I would recommend a lot more of the small Nassarius Snails. They are small so there needs to be a lot more to keep the sand bed stirred up. I think the astrea snails work pretty good to keep the algae down to a minimum on the live rock, but they do like glass also. And of course some turbo snails are kinda cool. I have heard complaints of them knocking over stuff but I have never had a problem with them. I like the antics of crabs and hermit crabs but there appetite for meat is too much for me to handle, so I don't carry those anymore.
