Any 4 x 2 x 2 tanks with G3 pros?
I have two on mine and was wondering what intensity you guys ran your radions at on this size of tank. mine are at 40% wondering if I should crank them up?

To get the best answer people need to know what you keep in the tank. And the spectrum your running.
I have the same size tank mixed SPS/LPS with two G2's. I used to run the Radions at 40% to keep SPS from bleaching. But at the time I was running ULN. With a switch to daily feeding and keeping trace amounts of nitrate and phosphate in my system. I now run the light around 75% 14~18K and supplement with 4 T5's. Color in the corals is hugely improved, probably more to do with no longer keeping the system ULN than the increase in light intensity. |
