Lost a clown fish

Hey guys so I'm officially addicted to this hobby! Currently have a 45g rimless tank.fowlr. wifey enjoys it almost as much as I do and loves looking at it, so much that she's letting me upgrade to a much larger tank in the very near future. I currently have a coral beauty, two green chromis and two clowns until the one died. Everything with the water checks out perfect and all other fish are eating and swimming fine. What could it be? Bad fish? Overlooking something?

To get a good answer, I suggest adding the water parameters and more details on filtration, how long has this been set up, etc.

Coral beauty needs a bigger tank.

When did you set up your tank? Did you quarantine any fish prior to adding them to your tank?

In other words, the real question is: are your living fish at risk? More details will get you better answers rather than guesses.
