Sand or crushed coral
So I've been doing some serious reading on here, and I've come to the conclusion that sand is better then crushed coral.
It was my understanding that I bought sand, but it appears to be crushed coral? It was caribsea arag-alive sand(confusing part). So is it sand or crushed coral? I'm going to assume its crushed coral as that's exactly what it looks like. Should I switch over to sand or is the crushed coral going to be fine? |

IMO sand is much better to use than crushed coral. Detritus collects in the crushed coral causing issues down the road and some bottom dwellers do not do well on crushed coral.
I would imagine it would say sand or crushed coral on the bag. Good luck
