Quick Question: Where do I put water change water?
Alright so for my freshwater tanks, I can just water my plants with the WC water but I am assuming you cannot do that with saltwater due to the salt. Am I wrong, or what do you guys do with your water?

I put mine down the drain and then run my faucet for a little bit afterwards

Down the drain and out to the municipal sewer system, fresh and salt. Come to think of it, the freshwater tank water is so nasty and smelly, I don't think I would water my plants with it either.

I have been dumping in my septic system for over 5 years. No issues at all. Can't even tell anything in the drain field that suggests salt water has been dumped. I've put as much as 200 gallons down at a time. Saltwater I think is about the same salt level as urine.

I send my water down the tub drain. It helps tame mildew buildup. BTW, I used to water my plants/ garden with FW water change water too. The more sludge the better they like it!! |

I'm on a septic system so my water goes for weed control on my front walkway and driveway.

Mine goes right into side yard where I keep my garbage pails on gravel. Weeds still grow though :-(
