What type of glue under water.

I have some frags and rock work that I am wanting to glue down...the tank is up and running. what is a good glue that I can use in water to keep things from moving..? I am just wanting place the glue on the plugs and stick them in the water on the rocks and glue them down.

I use epoxy to your glue down rocks and Krazy glue for frags.

Oooh, I'm not really sure about that. Home Depot usually always has it in though.

I have tried at least 3 brands of "instant glue". The one that works perfectly is EcoTech's Coral Glue! I strongly suggest it.

Sorry but I have no idea what would work for rockwork. Definitely not the aforementioned glue. Im kinda myself in the same situation. Looking to connect a couple rocks in my running tank. tagging along....

The epoxy is not really going to support much weight, but using a little in joints seems to help keep the rock structure together. If you really want to secure/suspend some big rocks you might have to drill some holes in the rocks and use plastic rods.

A lot have it. It's on Amazon too (I was just reading your rock thread). Theres one that looks the same, but it's like "jb exxxtreme" or something and is reinforced with bits of steel. Don't get that, just the regular one.

If folks are wanting to attach rock I use drive way reflectors. They are a couple of buck. Cut the reflector off and you got a nice length of rod. Just my 2 cents.

Great tip!! Cause acrylic rods are a little expensive.

I use the 2 part epoxy from instant ocean(Holds fast I believe) for rockwork. It doesn't hold much weight, but its great for stabilizing stacked rocks, or small rubble rocks some frags are on.

For the actual frag plug, I usually cut the plug end off, use loctite gel super glue, then stick them to my rocks.
