120g Stocklist...

I'll be setting up my 120g again in the coming months, in a different direction this time. I plan on keeping various macro algae crops in the display, as well as the 40g refugium with the hopes that it lowers nitrates and phosphates, while looking unique and beautiful at the same time. As far as fish go...

-Already Have-
(1) Percula Clown
(1) Azure Damsel
(1) Springer's Dottyback
(1) Zebra Moray Eel

-Planned Additions-
(1) Percula Clown
(2) Helfrichi Firefish
(2) Fathead Sunburst Anthias
(2) Neon Gobies
(2) Rusty Gobies
(2) Pearly Jawfish
(2) Yasha Gobies
(1) Golden Assessor
(1) Marine Betta
(1) Swissguard Basslet
(1) Leopard Wrasse (female)
(1) White Banded Possum Wrasse
(1) Starcki Damsel
(1) Royal Gramma
(1) Mauritius Annulata Damsel
(1) Midas Blenny
(1) Yellow Fin Fairy Wrasse
(1) Yellow Longnose Butterfly

... As far as coral, I want to keep it simple and just add a dozen or so photosynthetic gorgonians. I'm aiming for simplicity and low maintenance with this tank, while still allowing me to keep my favorite fish (thankfully modestly sized for the most part). Any comments, questions or concerns would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Your dottyback won't like the gramma, assesor,or basslet and a possibly the blenny. Use a acclimation box, it is you and your fishes friend. Neon gobies have a 2 year lifespan, so they seem pointless to me. The three damsels will get large and aggressive. If you cut some fish off the list you can do it. I think 26 fish is a lot for a 120g and would put a stress on your filtering capacity.

The marine betta would eat a lot of the smaller fish. While for the most part you've chosen small fish, which is good, that seems like a lot for a 120.

I've never had issues with this particular dottyback and I've seen plenty of people keep this species with other peaceful, cave dwelling fish without issue, so I'm not too worried. All three of the damsel species on my list max out at 3" and are some of the least belligerent damsels available, so they don't worry me either. Considering the majority of the fish on this list max out at 3" and all of which are relatively docile and inhabit different areas of the tank (water column, rockwork, sand bed etc.) I don't see space being much an issue.

Why ask for comments if you're going to just go with it anyways. Good luck.

Good luck, all those fish won't get along and you will have problems with at least one probably more.

What about bio load?

Then you going to be coming back asking for advice again. You might fall into that category of "learning the hard way". Putting stress on the tank and yourself and spending money.

Did I say I was just going to insist I'm right and go for it? I merely stated my experiences with the fishes in question. There's no room for passive aggressiveness here, so if that's all you're here to provide, I suggest you politely duck out now

How do I change this?

The marine beta could fit everything except the butterfly in it's mouth. Also too many fish, I'd ditch the damsels and cut it down to 20 if you have enough rock and your filtration can handle it. The firefish and jawfish would have to be acquired in pairs. And the damsels are simply the least aggressive of most aggressive genus of small fish, they're still aggressive, especially crammed into a tank with 25 other fish.
