Regular green alge?
I'm thinking this is just regular green alge... But can't seem to shake it..... Ran 4 days of lights on for 1 hour but still there.... Cross seem to eat some... Tank is going on 4 months so maybe end of all cycling? Nitrate at Las ten was about 20...30 gallon long tank

Green Hair Algae?
http://www.reefcleaners.org/nuisance-algae-id-guide If it's just patchy like that on your sand though you could just siphon it out and get rid of it. This is a quick fix, (aesthetics) but you need to address the root of the problem first though. GL. |

That sounds about right... For the first year or so don't be surprised if you see a bunch of different types of algae pop up. Less is definitely more though. GL.
