ID This Algea
Hello,
My nano tank is about 1.5 months old and has finished cycling. I have a few zoas / other corals that are doing well. I also have the algae that is pictured below. Having read other post I think it is bryopsis but want to make sure. If it is bryopsis the most commonly suggested solution is a very high dose of magnesium but I am worried that will have a negative effect on my corals. The algae is mostly on the glass but has also started popping up on my rocks. http://i.imgur.com/CQzepg7.jpg Thanks, Nathan |

Looks like bryopsis but there are several filamentous green algae that have the stemming pattern of bryopsis. Can't be conclusive until looked at with a microscope.

I am leaning toward bryopsis.
