Aquatic spider? Good or bad

Suctioned this guy out of tank with turkey baster. Found him on glass. Can anyone let me know if he is good or bad? Thanks, Chris

It is very likely very bad to have around. To my knowledge, some species will eat any nearly coral, polyp, or anemone that you can have in a tank, and I also think that they rarely travel alone. I would keep a very close eye out to make sure you do not have any more.

From the linked article in Cloak's post:

"...Sea spider predation or parasitism is a potential threat to all corals, soft corals, and sea anemones that are kept in aquaria....."

pycnogonids while very cool are not very cool at all in a reef tank as they are almost exclusively predators of soft bodied prey (anemones, coral polyps, etc.)

Spiders crawl into your ears and eat your brains. Very dangerous.
