Anyone paint or dye coral / live rock
I have about 100 pieces of small coral like this. I was thinking of color them and gluing them to my live rock. Anyone done this before that can recommend the safest way to do so?
Much Appreciated! |

Tagging along on your post. I know that the proper way to do it is to use a reef safe dye, I'm not sure which dye.. I hope someone with experience chimes in, but I think I remember seeing a DIY post where concrete dye was used. I know that that would work perfectly the question is, is that kind of dye reef safe?
A common argument will be that your rock/fake coral will end up covered in purple coraline algae anyways, but I say do it! it will look awesome while you wait and besides my tanks been up for a year in its not even close to halfway covered in coraline, im guessing the people that say that have pretty small tanks
