RO/DI hooking up to washer machine problem

Hello reefers,
Like the title, I'm now having some problem with my RO/DI wastewater going into my washer. I wire the brine water directly into my washer so I can save some money on the water bill. The problem is when the washer starts, it will immediately drains the pre-filled wastewater and re-fills itself from its own water supply. Does your washer do that? And is there any way to prevent this from happening please? Answers will be much appreciated.
