Nani reef tank compatibility
Hey everyone I have a 29g biocube with
2 clown fish 1 six line wrasse 1 yellow watchmen goby I want to get one more fish for my tank but I'm not sure what other fish could be compatible with these fish I already have.... I really want a flame angelfish because of the colors it brings to the tank... Would it be okay in a tank with those other fish? |

Too small of tank for flame and your tank is nearly maxed out as it is.

You could do an angel, but you run a big risk in that they frequently will nip at corals and inverts. They are constant grazers. Mine is fat and seemingly happy and doesn't currently pick on corals, but there is a huge risk that they will pick at corals (or clams) you have, especially if you ever start fighting algae growth by cutting back on feeding.
What about a small possum wrasse? Liveaquaria has a nice selection of nano fishes, and those came up. I never would have thought about possum wrasses because they're usually very large, but the ones listed there stay small and look really nice. They also shouldn't fight with any of your current fishes, including the 6-line, since they look very different. I don't think I've ever considered them before mostly because I'm a big fan of functional fishes, but they look cool. |
