macro algea in fowlr

I have a 300 gallon fowlr tank running, im running 2- 75 gallon sumps for support equipment, asm g4x skimmer, carbon and phosphate reactors, have room for cheato or other macro growout, question is would this help for nutrient export, or do you think it would be benefitial for tank inhabitants, thanks for any input

If you have tangs, growing some ulva out of the main tank would help with nutrients a bit and be a nice treat to throw in every now and them for them to eat, and i'm sure theres a few other types that would work for this, thats the one i know of.
