4 or 6 bulb ATI SunPower?

I am looking to upgrade my lights on my 40B sps dominated tank but cannot decided if 4 is perfect for this tank size or should I go with 6? I have been thinking 6 bulbs but would that be an overkill?

How do you switch them in pairs? The 6 bulb unit that I have seen comes standard with two power cords, one running 2 bulbs, the other running the rest. Is this something that they can customize for you or something?

Yo can go with 6 without a problem. The issue will be a bit of "light spillage" on the outside parts of the tank. With more bulbs you can also attain a better bulb combo for your liking.
You're going with dimeable?
