Flow for cubes

I am upgrading to a 93 gallon cube which will only be 30x30x24. Many of the tank size ratings online I assume are geared towards regular rectangle type of tanks.

That all said I am in a bit of a quandry for flow in my cube. I will move over my gyre 130 and rw4 to it when it is started but I will want more programmable flow moving forward and with a rimless tank I really dont want wires popping out of the top.

That all said would 2 MP10s work for that tank? They are really rated as up to 50 gallons but my old 55 was roughly 4 feet wide whereas this will need a flow of 30".

I do not want to have to run at full power though so I might need to go to the MP40 but looking at some of those flow rates and the recomended tank size I can not help but to think it would be too much and I would be running at 30% or less and thus wasted my money...

I should note that the gyre 130 will stay in this tank as I can run the wire around the overflow box (synergy reef overflow) to hide it. With that in the tank I am thinking I can get away with 2 MP10 but wanted those who have them to chime in and help me out.

Thanks all.

I have two MP-10 on my 60 cube. If I had the 93 I would go with the 40's or more of the 10's. Two 10's would probably get you by to start, but once things grow in you will need more flow.

even with the additional gyre 130?

I dont mind spending the money but also dont needlessly want to go spending if I dont have to. Money saved in one aspect goes towards other areas like more corals...

A couple of MP-10s or a single MP-40 along with the Gyre would be plenty of flow

The Marineland tank is 10mm thick so it looks like I have to go with the MP40 over the MP10. The glass would be too thick for the 10. Stinks I have to spend more money but probably better long term...
