LED Advice

Hey all,

Im about to start up a ocean free nano 5 which is an AIO tank.

The actual measurements of dispaly are 2ft l x 1ft w x 1.4ft d when you take the rear section for media and equipment out of play.

Can you recommend lighting that supports this size for full mixed reef??

Im liking the following units but not sure if spread is good enough

Kessil A160WE
AI Prime
Maxspect razor 120w 16000k

Looked at Chinese black boxes but unsure and really want to tank mount not hang

Any advice would be much appreciated

A diy led wouldn't be too hard to make for something that size. I'm not sure what the inside of the hood looks like on one of those though (I've done a couple red sea max for people and the hoods are a nightmare to get apart). Basically you could just use a couple 1.25" square aluminum tubing and thermal epoxy your led to that. You could use dimmable meanwell drivers to power them or even ac/dc adapters if you didn't care if they were dimmable but on something that shallow you won't need a lot of mA going to the led or it could be way too much light. Can you post a pic of the hood of the tank?
