Anyone do a "single coral" tank?

I have always considered doing this, boring to probably most folks but it intrigues me. I have a dry 25 gallon cube collecting dust and want to put one coral in there to let it grow large, almost like a showcase. At first I was thinking of a slimer, getting a large drag or small colony and letting it do it's thing. Now I'm considering something like a branching hammer or frogspawn.

Had anyone done this? I'd love to see pics of you have them.

I have a 50 gallon breeder and my wife is finally into the hobby with me. Problem is she likes euphyllia corals. So my tank is slowly becoming euphyllia dominant with different color hammers, torches, frogspaws ect.

Good thing is she will actually visit stores and look for interesting color euphyllia.

I've thought of doing an all green reef and only bright green. GSP, green slimer, kryptonite candy cane, toxic hammer, torches, frogs, seasons greetings monti, etc.

I've seen a few of them and they are somewhere here on RC

One was a HUGE Elegance
One was a Monster Frogspawn.

Those two really stand out but there are others.

This would actually be a cool looking tank, any chance on some pics of the tank now?

I like this idea, seen it with Xenia for sure, perhaps not intended haha.

Thought about doing this with pocillopora, it seems feasible.

One of my favorite exhibits at the New England Aquarium is an all giant green anemone tank. They are cold water but it is such an awesome system.

I did a 5.5 gallon zoa tank.

I started with a 5 polyp frag and had over 2800 polyps at the end.

I would have needed 7500 to fill the tank.

I think one big sps would be cool like bonsai-style.
It wouldn't have the same movement, but it'd be fun to play around with the flow and fragging to get a good shape and you could really fine-tune the parameters of the water in a 25.

A staghorn only type tank with a bunch of the same type of damsels would be sweet.
