How long before they die without a monti in the tank?

i never really dipped or QT anything. had always just inspected tank stuff came from and inspected the coral before hand. the possible culprit was from a tank that had no sign of them, and still has no sign of them to this day.

That's a great question. If you got some info on their life cycle, it seems possible to treat it. The idea would be to remove the colonies, dip them & put them in a QT tank. Hopefully they would die off in the DT eventually with nothing to eat.
