Cleaning QT with Bleach

I had some clowns with brook and I'm trying to clean my QT now that they're out.

How do you recommend I clean the QT? Is it 1 part bleach to 10 parts tap water? Scrub all around or let soak for a few hours?

Afterwards, do I soak it with more tap water and lots of prime over night? What's the procedure before I can put more fish into the tank?

I usually give a tank a wipe down with a bleach and water solution then rinse it out and let it air dry. I don't know what the mixing proportions are I usually just mix it together. If I had to guess may 1 part bleach to 4-5 parts water. Good luck.

^^^What he said^^^

Any residual chlorine will quickly evaporate - no need to go overboard on the rinsing afterwards.

I use a 1 part bleach to 4 parts water to rinse out all my tanks after TTM.
Spray bottle wipe clean and air dry for 2 days.

At the animal shelter where I volunteer, they have us dilute bleach to 1:10 with cool water. This is supposed to be strong enough to kill even ringworm (a fearsome pest) without damaging the plastic crates, necessitating safety precautions beyond opening the window, or wasting money. So that's what I use for my tank. Once in a while I cheat and double it for soaking my filter socks, just to get them extra white.
