Stocking my 40 Breeder

This is the fish I have in mind, any problems?

Six Line Wrasse (Fiji)

Goby/Pistol Shrimp pair

ANy other suggestions?

Looks like a good selection to me. My 40 breeder had a six line wrasse, a pair of clowns, and I put some yellow tail damsels in to give it a little more activity, but keep the bio load down.

Although, damsels are the devil.

As per sk8r, need a 100 gallon tank or bigger for damsels.
To the op, looks good. I have a sixline, 2 clowns, and small hippo in mine. Is that goby of the sand sifting variety? Im gonna have to read up on pairing them, thats all new to me. Anthias maybe?

6 line wrasses are great until they mature, then most of them are extremely aggressive. Do some searches here on RC.

Take a look at Royal Gramma, any of the hawkfish, any of the flasher wrasses lots of different goby's and blennies to look at. Most of the online websites for marine fish have pictures. descriptions with suggested size tanks and comparability charts for any of the fish you might choose. Check the links below and go to fish to see many selections.

...and about 180 gallon tank for the Hippo.
