QT after TTM and PraziPro?
i have been using a QT ever since a major Ick devistation. I have done the full QT period and sometimes treated wit Cupurmine as a caution. This is my first time doing Tank transfer methjod and I have treated with PraziPro during treatment.
What is to be gained by moving the fish to a QT for an additional period of time? How long?

I use TTM, Prazi and then QT another 30 days, which is a common recommendation from RC members. It has so far worked very well for me.
The additional time is required to make sure that any other parasites/diseases have time to show themselves since TTM doesn't eliminate anything but ich. |

+1. It also gives the fish time to settle into an eating pattern and 'fatten up' without food competition.

+2 to the above.
We use TTM with Prazi Pro. Then I QT an additional 2-3 weeks under careful observation. Use the time to get them adjusted and fattened up without competition for food and space. As was mentioned, TTM is for ich. Other diseases could potentially still be a threat. I haven't had any issue yet with method yet.
