rodi mounting
I found a used Aqua safe RODI with a refillable DI canister. Anyone have any ideas on the best way to mount the DI? I presently have it "strapped" to the wall using a muffler strap. I hate this idea due to the fact that it could crack the casing. Any ideas with pics would be great. Also I noticed a leak coming from where the TDS wire joins into the T connector. Presently, it is disconnected so the only TDS it reads is the last one (which is important) but not sure if both wires need to be connected to read correctly?

Pictures of the unit would help, cause mine came with mounting brackets that made it a breeze.
Do you see any cracks at the connector where you see a leak? |

Here is pic. Also, mine came with a 3 gallon tank. It doesn't seem to be holding any water. I have my supply running into a bucket located in the bathtub. I was told the tank is to help keep pressure on the system. Can I go without this? See pic

Yes the pressure tank can be done away with all together. There should be a block that splits the hoses in different directions, one of these going to the pressure tank. Remove this and then, you can just run the hose directly off the filters to your containment bucket.
Hope this helps! |
