Skimmer going nuts after adding coral!
I just added a small dragon soul favia and chunk of fire & ice zoas to my 29g and within ten minutes the skimmer is going NUTS almost filling the reservoir with foam...is this normal lol??? The other corals in the tank are three ricordea, star polyps, a duncan, and hammer. None of them are very large.

You probably just stirred up some debris and/ or air in to the system causing the skimmer to do its job. skimmer going nuts= dirty tank and doing its job

Ah ok
I thought there was some funky chemical warfare happening! Makes sense considering I couldn't decide where to put the one and ended up moving some small chunks of rock around. |

Even sticking your hand in the tank will make it loose it mojo.
Then you panic and start messing with it till you break something. Lol Don't ask |
