Will this bit work on glass
I have this drill bit I used to cut some bulkhead holes in acrylic and plexi but will it work on glass too? It's bimetal

NO, you need another bit infused with diamond dust.

you really need a diamond coated hole saw they grind more then cut.

diamond bit bruh. It will look like its coated in frost, no teeth. it will work 10x better with a much cleaner cut. Although they are labeled for glass and ceramic I've had to use them on frp and other surfaces and found that they are the same if not better. Others jump more, especially as the size increases. A bit like the one you showed would be good if you got it in metal, rather than bi-metal. A little contradictory but the teeth will be much smaller which will give you a cleaner cut. A lot of them will be labeled as "torch blades"

Awesome thanks for all the replies but this guy got the job done for me I cut two bulkhead holes in some old acrylic tanks I had lying around now I'm going to turn them into a fuge just got to go to the lfs and pick up so bulkheads
