SWC skimmer pump not working
Every time I shut the tank down for maintenance, once a week normally, the pump wont work right. I have to tear the whole thing apart, clean it, play with the propeller/mesh and put it back together a few times before it will work. What are my options? Should I just buy a new skimmer?

There are possible replacement pumps out there, depends on what yours is.
I'm keeping eyes peeled myself for what I will end up replacing on my 160 cone. They are really good skimmers, one of my favorites, just too bad SWC went out of business making it tough to find needed parts. I have seen bubbleblaster and sicce pumps mentioned as possible replacements, just not sure which models

I went ahead and bought a bubble magus that had really good reviews. It should work great on my 40b setup
