Deep Blue Pro Carbon Filter Pads Problem

I ordered a pack of the Deep Blue Professional Super Activated Carbon Media Pad and tossed it in my tanks filter last night. After a few hours my skimmer went bananas foaming over and overflowing. I raised my skimmers cup as high as it will go and I can't stop it from foaming over and filling with water. My tank is also really cloudy. Anyone use this product before or know why it would cause this reaction?

This is the exact product I'm talking about.
