Head loss on Jebao DC Series Pumps???

I can't seem to find a chart or info on the head loss on these pumps. I'm looking to get around 300GPH @ 4.5' but don't know if I should go with the DC-3000 or DC-6000. Any one have head loss info?

I think there is a flow curve on the fish street site.

They perform pretty poorly against pressure.

The newer DCS pumps have a much better curve and they use less power. I just got a DCS-9000 and it is great.

I didn't know about the DCS series. I'll look into those. Any suggestions as to which one will give me around 300GPH @ 4.5'. I see your image too well on my phone.

According to the chart, the DCS-3000 will give you ~400gph. Real world values may be lower.

I wonder if that's with the settings on high or low. I'd rather it be low this way I have room to upgrade and provide more flow needed

I run a 6000 pushing 4.5ft and it does just fine - I run it on 3/6

Roughly how much GPH are you getting at that height

I run the DCT 15000

I have ~ 4 ft head (1.2 m) that shows at about 11,000 L/h ~ 2900 gph based on the chart.

That's about what I get.

If you have ~ 4.5ft head (1.4 m) and want 300 gph (1,100 L/h), the 4000 should work.

Since they're digital and DC, you can also dial in the flow experimentally (hold a container bucket at the output level and count the seconds to fill).

I have 2 of the original DC12000 pumps on my 400g system. One is in the sump and the other is external for a Closed Loop. Neither one makes any. The external one is barely warm to the touch while running at 4 of 6 and pushing a 6' head to an Oceans Motion system. The in supm pushes water out the back of my house to a 1hp chiller and back into the bottom of the 180g tank. Total run is about 20 feet and 30" head.

I am setting up my third tank that will have Jebao DC12000 or 15000, The other two have worked great and push plenty of water at a 5` head. One is 2 years old and the other is 1 year. Both are in my TV room and very quiet.
