Which RO/DI
I have never had an rodi unit, since I have a 21 and a 7 I have always just bought my water. Looking to start making my own and will be looking to get one as a christmas present. If you had $200 to spend on setup, what would you get and why, I'm really wanting reliabilty, affordable membranes and longevity.
Thanks

I just found old stuff on craigslist and pieced together my own system. I had a total of 7 sediment filter cans. Two of them were used for DI resin. I had two RO membranes. If you just learn a little abut what they do, the plumbing of them, you can buy setups cheap used and build something better than what most will have and pay much less for. And as for brand names...they mean nothing with a RO/DI setup. It's the medias that make the difference. Aside from that, it's just plastic containers.

Brs
I personally like the BRS setups. They also offer some low price replacements filters when you need them so not a bad deal.

It's mostly about the quality of the cartridges and resins you use. If you want to look closely for higher quality systems, you'll have to look at the fittings selected for plumbing assembly, such as John Guest. The housings are pretty much all the same.
