ro booster pump

Will a booster pump only increase the pressure that is supplied to it or will it draw water from a tub without a feed pump? I need to bubble out co2 from my supply water for my ro/di filter and am trying to figure out how to do this.
thanks
Jeff

Why not just run the water through the ro filter into a storage tank, air out the co2 and then use a maxijet pump to pump the water through the di. This way there is no need to buy a booster pump.

the way I have my ro/di system set up is the output water goes into a pressure tank and the pressure line runs to my ato system directly and tees off to a float valve for my water change drum. I went through a whole di resin cartridge with just making alittle over 30 gallons. I am thinking I have a co2 problem with my well water. I already have a booster pump on the system, just didnt know if it would draw the water from a storage drum.
thanks
Jeff

jjoos - you could improve your set up by not running the DI water to a pressurized tank. That's really a no-no. Can explain in more detail if you'd like.

And no - a booster pump is not the right pump in your application. Tons of options. Feel free to give us a call if you'd like to discuss.

Must agree with the do not send DI to pressurized water tank...On the matter of water pressure I am to understand you do not have proper pressure to the RO system? If so I solved the same issue by adjusting the water pressure regulater coming in to the house from 38 psi to a nice 50 psi all problems solved...

I purchased my ro system with the booster pump. I am running it to boost up my water pressure to 70psi.

I would love to talk on how to improve my system. I am burning through di resin to get 0tds outputs. I did a water change the other day (30 gallons) and it went through half a refill cartridige of resin just for that little amount. I will take some tds readings in a bit so I have that information before I call. Is there any good time of the day to call?
thanks
jeff
