Bryopsis

Does anyone know how to deal with bryopsis. I recently inherited a tank locally and it's infested with it. It is a 29 biocube. Not sure on what parameters to post so if anyone can help me out I will get all readings needed.

+1 I recently read about it and everyone that beat it seemed to do it by using Kent Tech M. Do a search and you will find a lot of success stories. Good luck!!!

Raise your magnesium to 1900 slowly using Kent Tech M, only increasing your levels 100 ppm per day. Once you reach 1900 keep the magnesium level there until all the bryopsis has melted away. If you make water changes during the treatment period be sure that the new water is premixed with the magnesium at 1900. Only the Kent product seems to work (it has been widely speculated that it is actually impurities in the Kent product that actually kills the bryopsis) and it takes quite lot to raise a tank from 1350 to 1900. It is best to manually remove as much of the algae as possible before you start the treatment.

Should I stop skimming and remove carbon? Or keep everything normal?
