Smudges on inside of glass, snail eggs?

Yes, I keep getting these fingerprint like smudges on the inside of my front glass. They are a really pain to get off even with a metal blade. Are these some kind of egg? Are there any tricks to getting them off easily? My mag float does nothing to them and I really have to scrape with a metal blade to get them off. After about a week, they are back. Any suggestions or explanations would be helpful.

If the eggs go back and forth zigzagging while all spiraling around like a shell then I'd say snail eggs. I forget the species.
If you could get a clearer pic that would be even better.
