Lets talk about frogfishes
Ive always wanted a frogfish, even before i got my reef tank set up. Now that i have the time and resources i made a small tank just for one spoiled frogfish. Its a white/red wartskin frogfish or angler. Im on my way to pick it up right now. What do you guys feed ? How many times? How big? I have some corals in there, jusy mushrooms and waving hands and even macro algea. Any recomendations on corals that i can add that wont bother my angler? Also, whats the healthiest snack for them? I want to live feeders that arent too costly rather than frozen. Thanks

Corals will be fine with a frogfish, actually corals would be good to have in the tank with them especially corals that have the same colors as them. It gives them a spot to hang out and blend in. When I used to have my two frogfish I fed them glass shrimp and every now and then I put small damsels in their tank. They are greedy eaters and will try to swallow fish that are bigger than them so if you are going to feed them fish make sure they are much smaller than them.

Thanks, i have a HUGE one, and she's very happy. She's about 4 inches in a 12 gallon tank, would that be enough space. Although i'm sure it's enough since she doesn't move a lot. I fed her a silverside (lucky to be eating frozen) but as i've posted it in my local Facebook reefing page, i was told not to feed them something TOO big as they might rot in their stomachs and poison them. I've also fed her 2 ghost shrimps but i was told they aren't high in nutrition.
