Sump configuration

Hi I'm wondering if I could swap round the equipment in each compartment in my sump so I could have a spare for a refugium. This is my current set up.

I have my overflow, filter sponge in first compartment. I have some ceramic in the baffles, then I have skimmer, heaters and uv pump in the middle then I have the return pump in the last.

I was thinking I could put my return pump in the middle section then have the last section as the fuge then have the uv outlet feeding the last chamber overflowing it into the middle. Would that work?

I need to have a tidy up in the sump with cable and that anyway so thinking now might be a good time as any to re jig it. I

It's hard to tell from your pics how the water levels in your sump work.
I assume the water flows left to right, over sets of baffles, with the far right chamber being lowest. This is the place where water level will fluctuate
If that is the case, then your plan would work.
I would try to move the skimmer to the first compartment, removing filter sponge if needed. Your live rock should really be doing the filtering. Then use the middle section as a refugium and leave the pump in the last chamber.
