Space for an angler
Getting a 3 inch angles and ive been told that he'll need a 20+ gallon tank. I was planning on putting him on my 12g tank thats tall. I wonder why they need such space. Is if possible to keep the angler at a 12gal? They really dont move alot and often stay still for hours, so i wondee what are the set backs of being kept in a smaller space.

I think you just need a good amount of open sand area.
That's probably why they recommend a 20+, because reef tanks tend to be full of rock |
