Bubbles in Sump?
This morning I found bubbles in my sump. See picture:
I'm hoping this is just stuff that would normally be skimmed because I haven't started the skimmer? But I'm not certain and I'm afraid it could be soap? I've tried to be careful about my hands but it's certainly possible that I contaminated the water.

I guess I forgot to specify a question! Does it look like something I should worry about and try to remove or is it okay? There's not a lot of water movement in the top of the sump so that's the only place it's collected for now. Everything in the display looks okay right now.

is this a new tank? If you see bubble build up it's normally a good sign to do a water change. I'm assuming that's a built in sump on the back of the aquarium.

Probably bubbles from the top off water shooting in the sump . The pictures show the end of the Tunze osmolator hose right in the general area of the bubbles. Those osmo's with the small tubing put out quite a stream of water . Give a look at it while the osmo pump is running, and I think you will find your answer.

I've been trying to run it the other way but it doesn't want to come out on the left side and keeps drifting back there. Stubborn thing.
