Halide/T5/ LED combo, thoughts?
Hi All,
Just asking for your opinion on my planned set up. My tank will be 48 X 30 X 21 high. My existing light now is a Giesemann 24" with four T5s and one 250 watt halide. The spread is wonderful on this light and will cover the front to back really well. Now I am adding two, on each end, AI Sol superblue. Wondering if you guys think this is a good move? Or should I replace the Giesemann with maybe one hydra in the middle? Will I get shadowing. The lights will be mounted perpendicular to the tank. I am not in a position to replace the AI Sols right now. I would if I can. Thank you in advance!!

I'm sure the SOLs would help... any light is better than no light.
If it was me I'd just get a longer geisemann with two MH.

I also wanted the dust to dawn effect from the LEDs. I am also wondering if the SOLs will have enough spread to cover the 30" front to back....
