Need help with ball valve choice
I am about to buy my plumbing for a new tank and I am looking at ball valves. The two I am deciding between are cepex which I am aware are the gold standard and the price reflects it. The other is the Biotek marine ball valves. The have basically all the same features. They look almost identical and come with both slip and thread connections. I know they put out some pretty high end sumps and reactors but I am unsure if rhese ball valves can compete with the cepex ones. Thanks guys and gals.

I feel like I should add that the cost for cepex valves will be about 90 dollars vs 40 for biotek marine

There's also Cepex e-QUA true union valve as well, cost about $15 for 1.5", which works perfectly fine.

I think I looked at those and I am not sure if rhey have the i terchangable fittings. Cepexx has a few models but the ones I see on Bulk reef supply are the more expensive ones.

Yeah cepex and biotek have 2 sets of bushings that come with them they have a slip set and a threaded set so you can use them in a multitude of fashions
