New tank setup - 300 gallon

Hi guys,

I'm pretty new in this forum so hi to everyone
I'm setting up a new tank just got the main tank last week dimensions 200*65 80H.

I need your help with sump design and skimmer!
Now I have red sea130 and 100g fowler but no experience with sizes like This one.

Thank you all for any input!
Omri

I'm starting up around same size, my thoughts are go bigger when ever you can. I'm going with the ATI 250 - Auto clean and drain directly to my sink drain behind the trap. Skimmer is good for 500+ gallons and then some. Gotta figure your system will be 400 gallons at least with the sump.

What are you going with for lighting?

Base your skimmer on 300 gallons to get good performance. How much room do you have for your sump?

it will come down to what your sump will be size wise. you can even buy some sumps with a skimmer. hard to recommend a 10" base skimmer when you have an 8" wide sump. as far as brands skimz, c9 from jebao, are ones i have used with success.

Thank you all for the response.

I still didnt build the sump, but i will build it dynamic and big
The metal stand i will build this week.
The main tank is 276G so i guess the sump will be 70G approx which means 356G in total.
dim: 79X26 31height

It will be fowlr (fish only with rock) so about the lighting ill go with 2-3 flouracent probebly, any other suggestion?

im not sure i think i will do it outdoor, i have a small garden ( mostly becuase i want to use ozonizer).
or if its not gonna work i have enough room under the tank in the metal stand.

either way it gonna be 2-3 ft under the tank height.
