Two XR15 over 90

I've not been able to find a whole lot on people with this set up. I found one thread where ecotech said two of these would do well over a mixed reef on a standard 90. Does anyone have experience or pics with two XR15's on a softies and LPS only tank? Thanks.

I had one over a 40 Cube, 24" and I was able to keep SPS. Though shadowing occurred so I went T5.

Now two XR15's would be okay if you're only doing Softies and LPS. Though I'd recommend, if you can afford it, two XR30's. Look used even!

Thanks for the info. I'm looking hard at used but at most they're only about $50-75 less than new. How bad was the shadowing?

Bad enough I had to either go XR30 or something offering more evenly light spread (ATI T5).

You could even do Hydra 26's. I'm actually running two over my 36" SPS tank right now and it's more than enough light. Eventually I'd like to add one more just to have complete coverage as for LED's you need more coverage especially for SPS.

If budget allows, even look at the Hydra 52 since it penetrates deeper. Either way, the lights are amazing.

I'm a geek for eco smart live and I have an mp40 so I want to stay with ecotech. Ecotech emailed me back and said two would be enough with the wide lenses.
