Weird Question about Live Rock

I'm removing my RBTA from my tank. I've flipped the live rock he's on to allow my powerhead to "blow him off." On the underside of the Rock is a few spots which could best be described as dried glue in appearance. I can't get a good pic of it right now. Any thoughts of possible IDs?
