Really good looking scape! Are you going to skin the stand or leave it open?

Thanks guys!
I'm goign to skin it soon.. once i get everything dialed in.. goign to use wood, paint it black and attach with magnets. no seams.. just sleek solid panels. That Arm mount took me ages to figure out how to get the 5.5' span with out sagging! Its the product of many hours of bugging engineers and trying to calculate deflection My long term plan is to put the tank at the top of the stairs replacing the banister.. so i really didn't want to have a light mount on that side! |

FishTankProjects 6' shallow reef build
That's actually my long term plan. It's built as a peninsula. The future plan is to remove the railing and put it at the top edge of the stairs. Both sides are starfire and I just put black vinyl on the back so it's easy to remove when I move it up
