RKE Bus through data port?

I have to run one of my RKE bus cables a very long way and was wondering if I could simply install a data port in my wall and use that.
I like to keep my fish room looking neat and I hate that my RKE runs so far and then through a hole in the wall.

I know nothing about data ports, but can I install something like this in my wall to plug in my RKE bus line. And then on the inside of the wall (which I have access to in my basement), simply run another bus to RD-1?

You would have to repin the port to be a straight pass through and not crossover like normal phone lines, but the idea of usin a wall pass through is sound.
