Jabo Powerheads Which is the best to use?

Ive seen a lot of people using jabo powerheads, which is the most popular and whats the difference between the RW series, WP series and the PP series?

WP - old series. Had a bunch of issues, some people had good results some not so much.

RW - replaced the WP. Fixed the issues, made a decent unit for the money. Controller is okay but definitely needs refining.

PP - brand new, allegedly an improved controller for the RW line and is basically the same pump.

if you want low cost, get the WP. They work just fine. Otherwise, get the RW. Shop around for the best price.

Lol that will get you a product that will last a VERY long time but... is not cheap. I have the rw-20 on my 90 (I have lots of rock and coral so I need more flow than normal) and its great so far I have had 2 wp40's die on me from different places and I am starting to feel the ecotech vibe. The Jebao pumps are super cheap and effective for about a year or so. I am hoping mine lasts longer but I am not holding my breath for a 70$ pump . There is a website that has all things jebao, not sure if I can say it here but a quick google search will yield results. Side note: I have had a wp25 since I had my first wp40 and its still going, for what its worth.

I have two pp15 on a 93 cube with a lot of open rockwork and they push some water. I have to keep them on the lowest setting, might be ok to raise as they age? But very good flow patterns and better mounting than wp and more user friendly controller than wp imo.
I had two wp40 that worked fine for 25 months as long as you clean them with a water/vinegar bath every couple months. still work fine just time to upgrade. Very good experience for me for the price.
