Is this set up worth it?

Hi There,

I am a complete newbie when it comes to saltwater and reef tanks. (I have been doing planted freshwater for 5 years now).

I have been thinking of building a reeftank and saw a listing on craigslist which seemed promising. Anybody has any opinions/comments on this one?

Here is the link:

Thanks so much for your help.

Decent setup, good size and a good deal---you have to be sorry for his circumstances. Moving it would be a job and his help is a generous offer, too. I'd recommend going with new Aragalive sand, which he can advise you how to get, and it sounds as if he cares about his critters. I'd keep a bottle of Prime on hand and watch ammonia like a hawk after setup. Corals can survive a little brush with it better than fish can.

If I lived in NJ and wanted to start a reef tank, I'd jump on that deal. You have everything you need and more...plus quality equipment. You know I was thinking of starting a second tank, I'm off to New Jersey.... LOL
